The habitants of planet Kellos, the Kellosi, evolved from all varieties of mineral rocks throughout the planet. This is why minerals are very important to the Kellosi, as they make up part of their everyday life. All Kelosi have unique, one-of-a-kind eye colors, each color representing the color of a different mineral. The extraordinary Kellosi has emerald eyes, representing the planet's most priced mineral. Having this eye color is a phenomenon that automatically makes the Kellosi part of the royal line of rulers of the planet. The color green represents vitality, life, and energy, and so your fate of having green eyes were a good omen told by their God, Viride. This meant that the habitant was meant to rule and lead the planet into prosperous times. Yet, this physical trait was not genetical passed on to your children. Anyone could have the luck of being born with green eyes and become king or queen. Eye color also defined other tasks the habitants would do in Kellosi society. The habitants with violet eyes became soldiers of the guardian army of Kellos (GAK). The army is in charge of surveilling all areas of the planet and preventing any in invaders from attacking the planet and destroying the peace. In planet Kellos, keeping the peace is very important. As a result, the planet is one of the few ones in the Gamma Quadrant that has kept the peace and not been part of any wars with the neighboring planets. Furthermore, the blue eye color meant that the habitant had the task of being a priest, monk, or nun. The blue-eyed Kellosi are in charge of establishing missionaries and spreading the religion to newcomers throughout the planet. The dark-brown eye color meant that the habitant was an architect. These habitants are very respected because they build the planet's most precious buildings, monasteries, homes, among other structures. As a result, the Kellosi are known to be outstanding architects and as a result their homes are very elaborated, decorated with all varieties of minerals, the emerald being the most rare and luxurious mineral used. Only the nobles and upper class had homes built out of emerald. The grey eye color meant that the habitant was a farmer and trader. These habitants are very important to Kellosi society because they are responsible for feeding the large population and keeping the economy stable. In addition, they are the communication source with other planets, so this is how they manage to trade some of the planet's precious stones for money or other vital sources not available on the planet. In addition, the habitants with hazel-colored eyes were destined to search for minerals in mines across Kellos. At the same time, these habitants were doctors that maintained the large population healthy. The hazel-eyed Kellosi managed to heal people by handing them a mineral rock matching their eye color. Touching a mineral of your same eye color would instantly heal the Kellosi, instantly filling them with energy and vitality. The personal connection between the Kellosi is inexplicable because it is powerful enough to heal themselves and provide them a larger life span. Nevertheless, not all Kellosi have good intentions. The red-eyed Kellosi are the planet's criminals. They are known for stealing emeralds, attempting to access the royal palace, and also for establishing connections with enemy planets. Yet, the GAK (Guardian Army of Kellos) is in charge of controlling the nequam (criminals) of Kellos.

 

Moreover, the Kellosi usually have large families with many children. The parents' task is to raise their children and teach them good morals, to then make them independent adults at age fifteen. When young Kellosi turn fifteen, it is a very important age for them. Turning fifteen meant adulthood and independence. Big celebrations are held for every Kellosi turning fifteen years old, with typical music and beautiful singing. Moreover, at the age of fifteen Kellosi develop a one-of-a-kind arabesque at the back of their necks. A Kellosi knows he or she has found their soulmate for life when both people's arabesque light up in an emerald color. A Kellosi's arabesque will only light up once in their life time, and so finding their one true love is one of their many life tasks. Furthermore, the typical Kellosi diet is vegetarian and consists of eating a variety of herbs and vegetables only found on the planet. Unlike Earth, the Kellosi do not feed on the planet's creatures because they believe that they are innocent creatures that deserve to live.
